Spatial StimelMD, or SSMD, is an advanced neurorehabilitation system that uses AI, augmented reality, and bioelectrical stimulation to help the brain and body relearn movement after stroke or neurological injury.
SSMD works in hospitals, clinics, and at home, making high-quality, technology-driven rehabilitation available beyond the clinic and throughout recovery.
How it Works
Spatial StimelMD combines Functional Electrical Stimulation and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation with real-time biofeedback, allowing the system to detect a patient’s intent to move and immediately assist the correct muscles.
At the core of SSMD is BioRhythmIQ Technology, which analyzes each patient’s muscle signals in real time and continuously adjusts stimulation so therapy stays personalized and effective. AI algorithms adapt the therapy as the patient improves, while AR provides simple visual guidance that keeps patients engaged and focused on meaningful movements.
SSMD is currently not commercially available.
