Whether you’re a certified Lap-Band Surgeon or thinking about becoming one, we have the tools and training.

For your patients looking for long-term obesity treatment, Lap-Band could be the right choice. Lap-Band is an FDA-approved adjustable gastric band that helps individuals feel full sooner and stay full for a longer time, leading to lasting weight loss.

Lap-Band 2.0 FLEX

The Lap-Band 2.0 FLEX with FLEX Tubing is the latest advancement in laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding for the treatment of obesity.

The band is designed to promote weight loss by limiting food consumption and inducing early satiety.

How it Works

The FLEX Tubing acts as a reservoir that can expand to hold extra saline out of the band cuff, allowing the band stoma to temporarily dilate and facilitate the passage of a food bolus through the band. After the bolus passes, the slightly expanded reservoirs will then contract back to their steady original state and push the saline back in the band cuff.
Reverting the band cuff pressure back to its original state, pressure is maintained to ensure a feeling of fullness.

Note: The band is also available without the FLEX Tubing.

Benefits of Lap-Band

The Lap-Band procedure is a minimally invasive laparoscopic procedure with sustainable weight loss results.

New Design Innovation in Lap-Band - The FLEX Tubing

The next-generation Lap-Band 2.0 FLEX comes with FLEX Tubing, which acts as a reservoir that can expand to hold extra saline out of the band cuff.

The FLEX Difference

The Lap-Band 2.0 FLEX Tubing allows for lower internal band pressure, greater fill volume, and more gradual increase in pressure for each cc of fill volume than the band alone.
